Director, Business Development
Ryan has over 20 years of international financial services experience. As a senior member of the investment management team within various offshore Canadian owned Family Offices, he worked towards driving those firms’ investment strategy, analysis, and implementation of comprehensive investment programs. He was a Business Development Director for a precious metals mutual fund (AUM $300M) working with international clients as well as those within the Canadian (MFDA/ IIROC) channels. As Director, Global Business Development, he serves to maintain and grow ST&T’s client base. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance and Human Resources from Bishop’s University, Quebec and is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) Designation Holder.

Managing Director
Annie is a seasoned investment professional with over 10 years of investment experience in commercial real estate in both Asia and North America. Currently, as the Managing Director, Annie is responsible for the daily operations of the Fund. Before joining the firm, Annie was the Vice President of Crimson Capital China, an American private equity fund specializing in senior living real estate investments. At Crimson, Annie was in charge of due diligence work for the firm’s real estate investments which includes analyzing fundamentals of properties and value-added components of investments. Annie was also key part of the senior management team responsible for negotiating terms and structuring real estate deals with various partners. Annie holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg-Schulich joint business program of Northwestern University in the USA and York University in Canada.

Douglas Chase

Doug has been involved in the net lease sector for his entire commercial real estate career. After practicing as a real estate attorney at Cadwalader, he joined Capital Lease Funding, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in securitized, maximum leverage, credit tenant lease financing. During this time, he developed expertise in negotiating net leases, valuing net leased properties, mitigating credit and property-level risk, evaluating tenant credit and analyzing real estate fundamentals. From 2004 through 2018, Doug held senior-level acquisitions jobs at two public REITs, CapLease, Inc. and VEREIT, Inc., and most recently at a private REIT, Broadstone Net Lease. Over the past 20 years, Doug has financed and/or acquired over $1 billion in net leased properties. Doug holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University (B.A., 1991) and a law degree from Georgetown University.
Richard Figueroa

Throughout his career, Richard Figueroa has capitalized $4.5 billion of commercial real estate, including $800 million in net lease transactions. As Director of Capital Markets for The Opus Group, Richard was responsible for investing discretionary capital and joint venture equity into the company’s national development pipeline, which totaled more than $1 billion, including more than $300 million of single tenant office, industrial and retail properties. Prior to Opus, Richard served as Director of Acquisitions for Mansur & Company, where he sourced, underwrote and negotiated equity investments for a full range of commercial real estate projects. Richard previously served as Vice President, at ORIX Real Estate Capital, Inc. where he ran the net lease investment platform. Richard holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University (B.A., 1990) and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Peter Korpacz

In his over 50-year career, Peter Korpacz has extensive nationwide experience covering over 45 states in the United States, where he has provided appraisals, cap rate studies, and investment analysis studies for lenders, pension funds, REITs, and private funds. Mr. Korpacz’ experience within the retail sector – specializing in regional malls, net leased big-box stores, drug stores, and other net leased properties - is substantial. Mr. Korpacz is the founder and original publisher of the quarterly Korpacz Real Estate Investor Survey® and a former principal researcher and advisor for the annual PwC/ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate® publication. He is the author of numerous articles and real estate books and is a former editor-in-chief of The Appraisal Journal.
Steven Laposa

Steven Laposa is a PhD with 30 years of experience and expertise covering a wide range of commercial real estate investment analysis and strategy engagements. Dr. Laposa's clients include public and private pension funds, private equity, institutional investors, REITs, corporations, commercial banks, and foreign investors covering office, retail, industrial, senior housing, apartment, and student housing property types. He has extensive real estate and project management experience on a global scale including market analytics and forecasting, real estate cycles, national and international institutional investment acquisition and disposition strategies and site location analysis. He received a PhD from the University of Reading, England and MBA from the University of Denver.
